Command/Social Reference
A command is a word or list of words used to tell the game what to do.
Servers act in the same manner as a command, but serve little or no
purpose towards completing your objective.
In this reference I will list all of the commands and socials that I know
separated into categories by type and name. To go to the desired section,
click on the link above. Then click on the letter that matches the
starting letter of the command that you wish to perform. This list should
be easy to navigate, and the items will all have a short description after
them explaining how they work.
All commands/socials should be typed in lower case letters. And the { }
brackets should not be included when you type the command/social. They are
simply there to allow you to tell a certain word from a changeable word.
If there are 2 of a given type of an object where you are, the first
object will be accessed with its name, the second one with its name
preceded by a "2." etc... so your commands might look like this:
"look in tree" then "look in 2.tree" to see what the
second tree contains.
Buy {object}
Will purchase the object form a merchant or market. ex
"buy apple"
Drink {source}
Will get water from a given source. Used when you are
thirsty or to prevent thirst. ex. "drink water" or "drink
well"
Drop {object}
This will drop the given object that is held in your
hands. You can only drop objects that you are holding in your hands, not
in a bag or pouch. ex "drop apple"
East
See walk.
Eat {object}
Will eat the object in your hands. Used when you are
hungry or to prevent hunger. ex. "eat apple"
Equipment
Lists all items that you have on your body. Like the
clothes you are wearing and any pouches that you are carrying. As well
as what you have in your hands. Basically an extender version of the
inventory command.
Fill {object} {source}
Used to fill an object from a given source. ex.
"fill waterskin well"
Give {item} {object}
Used to give someone a object. Maybe you will come
across a starving person and wish to give them some food with "give
apple player1". It simply gives the item to the object (person)
that you tell it to.
Hit {object}
Will attack the given object. ex "hit sheep"
yum yum, lamb chops for dinner;)
Inventory
Lists the objects that you are currently holding in your
hands.
List
Will list all the objects contained at a local market or
merchant.
Look {object}
Used to see what is around you. Whenever you walk
somewhere a map command is run, but you should run a look command
yourself to get a complete look around. Items such as rocks and
carcasses do not appear in the map command. if you add the {object}
after the look command you will look towards the given object. ex.
"look player1" this will tell you what the user called player1
has on them.
Look in {object}
Used to check the contents of an object. Replace
{object} with what you want to look in, ex. "look in tree" or
"look in sheep" will list what they contain. This way you know
if there is an something contained within the given object that you can
take. If it is blank then the object contains nothing.
Map
Lists the large objects that are around you on the map.
ran automatically when you walk somewhere.
North
See walk.
pound {object}
Attack an object with increased impact damage. ex
"pound sheep"
Put {object} {container}
Used to place an object into a container. That way you
can free up your hands while keeping an object for later. ex. "put
apple basket" or "put apple backpack" that will place an
apple into a basket or a backpack.
Quit
A command that I hope you don't use to much. Because it
does a terrible thing and makes you leave the game:( I
have noticed that you will have to wait a few seconds and press enter
again to close the applet window (I use IE)
Remove {object}
Removes the object that you are wearing and places it in
your hands. ex "remove tunic"
Rest
Allows you to take a few minutes of rest and catch up on
your breathing.
Save
Will save your progress incase something happens.
Remember, save often!
Say {text}
Will send a message to all of the players near to you.
ex. "say Howdy folks, I'm learning how to play" would print
"Howdy folks, I'm learning how to play" on the screen.
Sell {object}
Will sell an object held in your hands to a merchant or
market. ex. "sell apple"
Shout {text}
Works exactly like the say command, but has a much
farther range. Allows you to talk with people that you cant see in some
cases.
Sit
Will have you sit down and take a short rest. Use the
stand command to get back up.
Sleep
Makes you lie down and take a nap. Useful to recover
after a long journey. Use the wake command to wake up.
South

stab {object}
Will attack an object with increased piercing damage.
ex. "stab sheep"
slash {object}
Will attack an object with increased cutting damage. ex.
"slash sheep"
Stand
Used to get up from a resting position and continue your
quest.
Take {item} {object}
This command will take the given item from a certain
object. The second part, {object}, is not needed. If it is left out you
will try and pick up the item from the ground. If the item is in another
object all 3 parts must be used. ex. "take apple tree" or
"take knife basket".
Value {object}
Will give you the selling value of your object. (is 80%
of buying price) ex. "value apple"
Wake
Will wake you up from a nap placed upon you by the sleep
command.
Walk {direction}
Used to travel in a given direction. Replace {direction}
with north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, or
northwest to walk in that direction. If you do not wish to type this
every time n, s, e, or w can be used to travel north, south, east, or
west as well. Also automatically runs a map command.
Wear {object}
Takes an object in your hands and places it on your
body. You should use common sense with this command and not try to wear
2 backpacks at once or something like that. If you wish to exchange an
object for another one, first remove the old object.
West
See walk.
Who
Lists the people currently playing the game. (may soon
be removed)

No details are given for the socials because
they can do no harm if you try them out at any time. Most of them
are self explanatory anyways...
