The reality is that this wonderful mini-series cost a fortune, and unfortunatly recieved not-so-good ratings. So it's safe to say that NBC may not feel up to making a sequel, or prequel. This is where us fans come in. We need to let NBC know that we want this great mini to continue by flooding their mailboxes (both regular and electronic) with letters.
Get as many people as you can to send mail to NBC. Remember that networks regard snail-mail more highly then email, so grab a stamp, an envelope and a sheet of paper and demand there be another 10th Kingdom mini.
Tips by the lovely Krista Beck:
Here's how:
- Find other fans who feel the same way.
- Write a letter to the network your show was on.
- Send a copy of the letter to the studio that produces your show.
- Send a copy of the letter to the president of the network.
- Send copies to anyone else you think could help your cause.
- Start a website and post your letter there.
- Post the addresses you sent your letter to.
- Encourage your visitors to send letters.
- Collect names and email addresses of others who want the show to continue.
- With permission, send these to the network as well.
- Discuss your show with others on forums and Usenet.
- Try to get more buzz going for your show to encourage the networks.
- Hope that your show gets renewed or picked up on another network.
Tips:
- Look at what others have done with shows in the past to get an idea for what to do.
- Don't give up hope; the networks have been known to change their minds.
