Waipio Valley
The Big
Island offers many secluded valleys for the adventure traveler.
Waipio is one
of the
most picturesque. A one hour hike takes you to the base of the 1,600' waterfall
(highest
in Hawaii) on the left side of the screen. But don't try it without a
guide as
you may
not be able to find the trail and access is by 4wheel drive only.
