Here’s the scoop on the ‘Topper Band’s triumphant return to the Big Apple
for Thanksgiving, 2000. We are staying on the island of Manhattan this time, which
costs more, but saves us three hours on a bus every day we’re there. Our hotel is
the Marriott at the foot of the World Trade Center. This is a rough idea of the trip.
For everyone planning on going on the trip, we will require a deposit by January 15,
2000. The deposit is non-refundable, because it will be used to purchase the
Broadway theatre ticket. Individuals can sell the ticket to someone else if your
plans change.

meals each day, Broadway ticket, Music Hall ticket, Statue of Liberty ticket, World
Trade Center ticket, and all taxes and gratuities. Cost are subject to some change as
the trip evolves, but should not vary more than $20 from this rate. Those interested
in the joys of chaperoning should sign up as a chaperone. We will pick chaperones
in February and notify those selected by March. Successful past experience as a
chaperone will be the deciding factor in choosing these very important people.
Chaperones will travel at a reduced rate. Chaperones must room with a fellow
chaperone, mixed in with the rooms on the student floors of the hotel.
