This is the home of VGA Planets. Contains
updates to host versions and the client program, links to strategy guides (still working out how to get my Imperial guide
linked to from there, it must be one of the highest honours of the VGAP world to have one's guide given a mention there)
plus all the latest on the new version, VGAP 4. New players can download the shareware version from here.

Large site which has stuff on many PBEM games,
including Stars! the main rival to VGAP. Some people play both, but I personally have not tried Stars! It hasn't been updated for a while, but
there are still many files available for download and a wide array of tactical articles, many of which are archives of
threads from the newsgroup from years back.

This site is sadly not being maintained
anymore since its webmaster had a terrible accident two years ago. Unfortunately I have not heard from him since. Even though the (very
reliable) hosting at this site is no longer existent, it still offers a lot of information on addons and a complete
friendly code list.

This site has won two VGAP webring site
of the month awards, which pretty much speaks for itself. If you don't visit this place, you're going to find it difficult
to compete with the enemy, because he almost certainly will come here and read the vast library of strategies contained
within. In addition to strategies, there are also reference guides, data lists of specs, replacement bitmaps, and miscellaneous
but still interesting related info.

Another VGAP site I highly recommend.
Not because it has a wealth of strategic articles, but because it is deadset funny, and the webmasters (some jolly British,
I think) have made it their stated purpose to provide VGAP humour, so there you go. It will really crack you up especially
when you read about the exploits in their Planets Paranoia game - taunting, gloating, poltroonary... it has it all.
A pity it hasn't been updated in just about 9 months, I was really looking forward to reading more of their entertaining escapades.

Bane's Fleet Review will walk you through the
ships of VGA Planets and discuss their performance and vulnerabilities. Similar to the fleet reviews here at the Sharkman Empire, except he has a
page for all 11 races rather than just the carrier races, but they are less detailed than the ones here.

Best known for its replacement graphics
for Winplan. Some of the bitmaps I use in Winplan, which will be appearing in the Rec. Lounge section when I get around
to it are from here, others are from sources scattered around. This place would be the number one site to look at if you
want better ship/building/race pictures for Winplan.

The website formerly known as NAVGAP, this
still remains one of the largest and most reliable hosting sites available, even though it is somewhat a shadow of its former
self. All games are linked to the RCC Ladder (a ranking system).

This is an online e-zine about VGA Planets
(the site also has a lot of other gaming stuff) which disappeared for a while but then, as its name says, has been
resurrected. The issues available contain strategy, fiction, humour, rule clarifications, battle stories and more!
