VTX Fender (61100-MCH-000ZA)
VTX Fender Stays (2 Chromed Brackets) (61103-MCH-000 and 61104-MCH-000)
VTX Shock Covers (2 Chromed Protectors) (61101-MCH-000 and 61102-MCH-000)
VTX 6 mm pan screws (4) : to fasten the brackets to the fender (90108-MCH-000)
6 mm washers (8) : to shim the shock protectors away from the brackets (from
harware store)
8mm nylon lock nuts (10) : to fasten the shock protectors to the fender brackets
and also brake hoses to the fender brackets (from hardware store)
Note: The bottom of the brackets are fastened to the forks with the original
Valkyrie 6 mm socket bolts.
The rear portion of the fender brackets must be drilled in order to fit onto the Valkyrie.
1. Fasten the brackets to the fender.
2. Fasten the front portion of the brackets
to the bike forks.
3. Position the fender as it should be when
completed.
4. Mark the bracket for drilling.
5. Remove brackets from forks, and fender
from brackets.
6. Drill the brackets as shown.
7. Reinstall fender and brackets
Note: Use nylon lock nuts to fasten the Valkyrie 6 mm socket bolts at the newly
drilled holes (rear bottom portion of the brackets)

The VTX shock protectors will be slanted unless they are shimmed away from the fender brackets. I found that 1 washer on the top bolt, and 3 on the bottom bolts straighten these out.

Note: The brake line holders from the original Valkyrie fender have been fastened to the VTX fender bracket with 6 mm bolts taken from the Valkyrie fender (combined with nylon lock nuts).
That's it! Easy isn't it?
