Minister - Bro. Humphrey Foutz
Brother Foutz has been the minister for the Central Church of Chirst since 1958. The Lord has blessed him to lead and nurture the growth of this congregation of God's people through four+ decades. His teaching and pastorial skills have strengthen the members to serve the Lord according to His Word.
His ministry with the congregation started when there was less than two dozen christian which had been worshiping and serving the Lord in a very humble facility. His leadership, working with devoted christians, launched the steady growth in membership which now exceeds 1600 active members.
To accommodate the growth in membership, Bro. Foutz with the support of the congregation has initiated the progressively transition to suitable meeting facilities over the years, from a humble beginning in the livingroom of Bro. Blackwell in the early 1940's to the present facility erected in 1990.
Bro. Foutz's continual focus and emphasis on spreading the Gospel of Christ, has guided and prompted the Central Congregation to spawn congregations in Cambridge, Md., Wilmington, De., Annapolis, Md., and York, Pa.
Asst. Minister - Bro. Clinton Miles
Brother Miles has served as the Assistant Minister since late 1990. He has studied and trained under the Bro. Humphrey Foutz for 20 years and has been very supportive in numerous congregational programs. This includes preaching evening worship services, weekly men's bible study, director of bible school, marriage counseling, and many other activities.
