I spoke with Roger today, here are the highlights from our conversation.
1) Roger is no longer working jointly with Maxim Manufacturing, he is again working alone
from his house. 2) The "missing pages" of the Tiger Moth plans are now available,
anyone who received TM plans without any center section drawings can contact Roger and he'll
mail them to you. 3) His Flying Flea should be flying by the end of October. 4) The 3-place
Stork has flown. Roger flew the prototype with a Rotax 912 before he shipped it to Mexico
City. Drawings are available for the fuselage modifications, basically he took the side by
side version and moved the original seat back and the instrument panel forward to make room
for the new pilots seat. 5) Roger is working on a 4 seat Stork. This will be an all new
design which he expects to fly around June 2001.

Here are highlights of a report filed by Glenn Krueger, following a visit to Roger's
Roger is building a three person stork prototype at the present time. It will become available
some date in the near future. I do not know if plans will be available. This is an impressive bird.
Roger is building a Flying Flea that is simpler to build than the standard model. He has the wings and fuse completed. I do not know if he will have plans available. If there is a demand, I would assume he would meet the demand.
In buildng the Special, one needs to raise the leading edge of the lower wing by 2 degrees to compensate for the nose high attitude. Roger said that the horizontal stabilizer needs to be adjusted on some planes and not on others. It is a matter of weight that will determine the adjustmets needed. Each plane is a bit different.
Roger now uses Excel exclusively in all gluing operations. He said T-88 is excellent, but he no longer uses it because he doesn't like the two part mixing.
Special Kits are available from Roger, he usually makes up two kits at a time. He shipped a kit the Friday before the visit and has no kits in stock at this time.
Roger will be expanding his work shed into a new facility next to his present shed sometime this year. He has the area cleared of trees, but not stumps. Roger will only build prototypes at this workshop and some turn key aircraft (all completed).
The stork kits are delivered with the fuse and the wings completed and ready for varnish from the Ragwing Aviation facility located about 10 miles from his home and workshop. The Stork is expected to exceed the Special in popularity within the next year.
