The RW-8 is patterned loosely after the Cessna 150, a two-seat pilot trainer, hence it's nickname "PT2S". According to the plans it can be built with various options, including tricycle or conventional gear, longer wings and/or fuselage, single or dual, etc. It is quite similar to the RW11
