Mark Walsh grew up in a small town of Escondido, CA. When he was growing up, as a die-hard skateboarder and dirt bike rider, he has always enjoyed the love of music, so he picked up the guitar in 10th grade and started playing it constantly until he graduated high school. After school he then found a new beginning, no not music, but the United States Marine Corps. Yes, I think he knows the name, “Jarheads.”

     In 1995 he graduated the Fire Academy and returned home and formed the band, “Pointless.” Beginning as a guitarist, just after two weeks the bassist left the band. He then picked it up and became the new bassist. Being the militant brained washed one in the band, he new that he could strive himself to reach his Hollywood dream.

     After two long years with the band and the loss of some members, he still stuck it together and founded his new band, “Pointless.” With the famous motto: Sex, Drugs, and Rock n’ Roll, he new that there was something to live for. Now, looking to the future, with the dream and motto in his hands, there is never a moment that he wants to be, just like his favorite bands.
