John Lovik was born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA, and has never known life without music. It all started when his father handed him his first pair of drumsticks at the ripe old age of two years. Growing up in the barrio of San Marcos, CA, John was forced to adapt to a way of life that suited him perfectly, a hardcore skater and punk to the core! From the spikes on his wrist, to his flaming orange hair, John constantly needed to be noticed. At the age of 14 John formed his first band, “Social Conflict”. Constantly striving for perfection, John left the band with a vision of truth and the way it had to be. Playing with talented musicians and making a name for himself in music, his only dream since he was a fetus, was to record his own album. Who says dreams don’t come true! Finally everything fell into place when John joined the established band, Pointless. With the perfect mix of classic rock and punk music, he knew that he had struck gold. Now, after one album, he knew that it wasn’t enough. John’s not stopping until he is a Rockstar! |
