What Dreams May Come is one of the ultimate stories of Eternal Love. After Cris Nelson dies in a car accident, he ventures through Hevan and Hell to be with his wife who commits sucide after losing her children and her husband. What Dreams May Come is based on a novel with the same title written about 20 years before the creation of the movie. The author Richard Matheson, is well known for two additional pieces of work: Somewhere in Time and A Stir of Echoes. I have heard some say that What Dreams May Come was overdone. This is true; it was overdone with amazing colors and great graphics. The film makers truely did a great job at creating a picture that the characters could walk in. The movie is filled with vivid imagery and fantasy making seem very real.
