Stir of Echoes is based on Richard Matheson's original novel from 1958 but could also be considered the original The Sixth Sense. After undergoing hypnosis (just as a joke), Tom Witzky begins to realize that not only can he see the future, but that he sees dead people. Tom goes aganist reason to right a wrong and to rid himself of his new found ability. Reason for ImportanceI am a little unsure as to why Stir of Echoes is important, but it must
be. I say this because the idea of seeing dead people or ghosts and of other
paranormal experiences exist without any form of proof ( I say exist as in
possibly exist and without any form of proof as in as far as I know). I hope
that later I will be able to give a more definitive answer and I apoligize
for not being able to do so know.
