Joe Black aka Death visits Bill Parish just before his 65th birthday and offers him a extra time in exchange for showing him what life is like. Along with experiencing life, Joe Black also experiences love with Parish's daughter Susan.

The story is simular to City of Angels but a little less sappy. There is a sex/love scene with Joe Black and Susan that I wish wasn't there. It seems kind of stupid that Death would have sex and so obviously it was really only there because it was Brad Pitt. Meet Joe Black is very interesting, contains some laughs, and is fairly romantic.

Reason for Importance

I think that most people of The Grimm Reaper as being Death and therefore think of an evil dark shadowy character. It was very interesting to see death as not an evil entity, but rather as a polite and even niave being.
