Frequently Asked Questions
Question:
How is your pricing when compared to other engravers' pricing?
Answer:
My services are priced lower than average. For the money, you receive much more than average service, which includes meticulous exactitude, beauty, and total compliance to your needs. Many engravers charge more than I do. I compensate this difference by means of a well established work tempo, which enables me to charge less without in any way compromising quality. (There are some trade secrets here.)

Question:
I am interested in your services, but you charge too much. At the rate you charge, I cannot be competitive. Are you flexible?
Answer:
Of course I am. The quantity of work involved will dictate the exact pricing according to the rule: "The more pages a project consists of, the less you will spend per page." Simply contact me with a description of your project and we can always negotiate a final price.

Question:
I noticed that you are located in Lithuania. Where is that?
Answer:
The most southern of the three Baltic States is Lithuania, located just east of Sweden, and south of Finland. This beautiful country is emerging as an important crossroads, convenient
to several distinct regions of Europe.
Question:
You live too far away. I can't imagine working with anyone who lives half way across the globe. How can this work?
Answer:
It works very well, indeed. I can accept a snail-mail shipment of your originals' copies, or, if you need the results in a hurry, I can accept your manuscript in the form of an email attachment. Scan your manuscript into a computer and save it as either a .PDF, .GIF, .JPG, or any other graphics interchange format which lends itself well to transmission via email. I then send the completed product back to you in the form of a high-quality PDF file, which you may then analyse. I am commited to working by your side until you receive the product in the form which satisfies you fully.
Question:
But how do you accept payment?
Answer:
Simply write me a personal check and post it to me. I also accept bank transfers, which many clients prefer.

Question:
I need a piece transposed, but I am worried about copyright issues? Can you help me out?
Answer:
As long as you use the sheet music I prepare for you personally, there is no copyright infringement. If, however, you intend to reprint the newly transposed piece and sell it, then you are required to contact the original publisher and gain permission to do so.
