As far as beta-readers go, I don't need spellcheckers. I can use people who can tell me where I'm being unclear, where it would help if I provided more detail. I can definitely use people who have some experience with fight scenes, so I don't tangle bodies into hopeless messes. Also, if you don't mind having future plotlines completely spoiled for you and all sorts of secrets given away, I might be able to use a few more Schemers to talk about the underlying storylines with.
Remember that this series runs if possible on a very tight schedule. If you're not likely to get back to me within a day, it won't help.
It's also useful to me to hear people's speculations about where you think storylines are leading. So feel free to tell me what you think is going on. (I have the storyline in mind already, but it helps me understand the viewpoint.)
