Kirana Lightbringer-

The prophicied soldier for the Light, Kirana Lightbringer is said to be the third person to successfully wield a hookstaff in Soluytian prophecy. Kirana, or "Fire-eyed (implied masculine)" is supposed to be born a man, according to the prophetic visions of Kadalas, who is the source of the most widely accepted prophecy of the Lightbringer. There are 7 signs to indicate who is the true Kirana. Fire-eyed was not a symbolic term. In fact, Kadalas pointed to a man in the crowd when he first preached the prophecy on the streets of Saragoth, and said "You ask what the eyes of fire are? This man is not the Lightbringer, yet he bears the eyes of fire." Thus, there is no doubt that the fire eyes are the mark of an intense and deeply held anger, which, when ignited, literally shines red in the eyes of a person. The structure of the Prophecy is such that thousands of people have met the first condition of the fire eyes, and several have appeared from nowhere as men, yet all have failed the final prophecy. Thus, the phrase "fulfilling the Seventh Sign of Kadalas". The 7 Signs of Kadalas are also referred to the Seven Signs of Saragoth, the last of which has a nearly mystical quality in the minds of men. In fact, there have been 7 men who, by common opinion, have fulfilled 5 of the 7, though none have met the last 2. The first sign is the Eyes of Fire. The Second is a soldier born a man. The Third Sign is a scarlet scar in his right side, as if a stab wound remained fresh. The 4th Sign is a streak of fire red hair on his head. The 5th Sign is that he will bear a Silver Dagger that once belonged to the greatest of all Necromancers. (Scholars should note that all 7 of the men who fulfilled this sign in the minds of people were frauds) The Sixth Sign is that he would call lightning upon those who can stop magic with a word. Mages hold little stock in this Sign, as anyone knows that a mage cannot be prevented from casting a spell except by directly disrupting their concentration. Some Priests are able to call upon the elements, but their oaths constrain them from participating in battle. The Seventh Sign of Saragoth is that the Scarlet Flame that burns forever would die, then ignite again as a Golden Flame at his command.
