Once you have settled
your account* with us, you will be sent the relevant usernames
/ passwords to access your accounts.
Each service -- web site,
guestbook, mail list, message board, Mp3.com page, stat reports
-- has a similar, but not identical, interface through which
changes / additions / deletions are made. Some require the HTML
code itself to be edited, others are more user friendly.
Trial and error have
always been my best teachers. There is nothing quite as potent
as learning from your mistakes. You may decide to delve into
it yourself and do any changes and updates yourself once you're
set up. Don't forget though, if mistakes are made, they will
be there for the world to see. We would naturally offer email
support if you do get in trouble, but if you're not signed up
to the maintenance option, we can't be fixing up mistakes all
the time.
If you choose the Maintenance
Option, we would ask you not to do any editing yourself, or at
least uploading. To have two different parties, you and us, making
changes and updating would become too confusing. You are always
able to copy the source code of your pages and practice editing
and page making off-line. Once you feel you're proficient enough,
you will be able to carry on without our assistance. You will
then have the option of changing the passwords to make your site
completely private
*Once your site has gone
public, you will have one week (7 days) to approve it in writing.
If for any reason you don't, your site will be deleted, your
accounts canceled and your money refunded. Read the details here.
