Does O. H.I. P. Cover the Costs of Massage Therapy Treatments?
| O.H.I.P. does not cover the costs of massage therapy treatments, however, most extended health care plans do cover part or all the cost of your massage therapy treatments. Some extended health care plans require a Doctor's note for coverage, e.g. Ont. Hydro. For those who do not have extended health care plans, massage therapy costs can be applied to your income tax for medical expenses. Only licensed registered massage therapists are recognized by insurance companies which provide extended health care plans. |
