Kinesiology and Exercise Programming


Exercise has been known to benefit an individual physically, mentally and emotionally. Stretching and Strengthening have been shown to improve posture, increase physical and mental relaxation, and reduce muscle tension, soreness and the risk of injury.

Certified Kinesiologists have studied both normal and abnormal human movement during a 4-year university program. This provides Kinesiologists with the knowledge to provide exercise therapy. Having this professional guidance will ensure you are doing the proper exercises to meet your needs and that you are performing your exercises with the proper techniques and positioning in order to avoid injuring yourself.

After completing a thorough assessment during your initial visit, a specific exercise program will be designed to meet your personal needs and goals. Debbie will provide you with the education and confidence you need in order to safely and effectively perform your home program!

An exercise sheet will be made up for you which includes pictures and descriptions of your exercises. Specific instructions about positioning, technique, number of repetitions and sets will also be outlined.
