Welcome! Here you will find as much information as I can gather about volunteer tutoring. I believe that any student attending university, college, or high school should be given free help when the need arises. Many students are in rough financial shape to begin with and the $10+/hour tutoring charges are often out of the question. What can we do?
If you can afford the time, you will gain experience helping others, meet lots of new people, brush up on old course material, and feel much better about yourself - at no charge to yourself (or anyone else).
If you need a tutor, look for volunteer ones! I'm hoping to compile a list of volunteer tutors for students in need. Volunteer tutors aren't for people who are simply desperate, they're for anyone who's smart enough to seek them out!
