The short answer is: Probably
The long answer is: Well, let's see...
Do you have some time to spare?
Have you completed some courses at the university/college/high school level (whichever you're planning to tutor)?
Did you understand most of what you did in these courses?
Did you keep your textbook, assignments, exams, etc from these courses so that you can refer back to them if necessary? (not required but very helpful)
Are you aware of which courses you're more comfortable with?
Are you patient with people that are (potentially) not as knowledgeable in this field as yourself?
Do you live near campus, or are you on campus at times which are convenient for students?
Can you get through the school year without making money from tutoring?
Are you comfortable talking to an individual or a small group of people?
If you satisfy most (preferably all) of the above criteria, you're perfect for the job! There are always many students in need of help, especially around exam time, and you could be there for them. Don't let them down!
