Pippin
A poor man's studio set-up. The background is a newly pressed bedsheet. A flash with a Lumiquest softbox was fitted on a tripod, placed on Pippin's left above the head. Another flash was fitted with a bouncer, placed lower on his right. Lens was a Pentax 50mm f/2. Exposure was 1/125 at f/4.
Maró
This was taken on 15 May 1998, the day after his birth. The soft window light was the only source of illumination. Lens was a Pentax 50mm f/1.4. Exposure unrecorded.
