Welcome to The ORIGINAL UNOFFICIAL Grant Shaud News Page.

Some people say that no news is good news. I must admit that I have never completely understood that saying. I mean, it either means that not getting news is good news OR that there is no such thing as good news. Either way, it doesn't really apply here. We want lots of Grant Shaud news (and all good news, of course). So much news that it takes up all my server space and I have to get another host just to hold the news page. Well, maybe not THAT much -- 15 megs of text is more news than anyone could ever read.

Check back here frequently to see if there have been any updates. The news is below the banner ad.

06/13/2000   If you are waiting for "The Crow: Salvation" to be released, you might be waiting a while. The official release date keeps getting changed and pushed back. According to the official website for "The Crow" it will be released in France on June 28th. There is a rumour that it will be released in the US two weeks after that. I wouldn't hold your breath, though. Supposedly (as you know if you visit this site often) it was supposed to be released several times already.
04/06/2000   Woo! I'm excited because the Internet Movie Database has finally listed a link to this site on their Grant Shaud page. I'm also thrilled to note that the traffic to this site is fairly steady and about 80% of it comes from search engine queries for "grant shaud". It is nice to know I wasn't alone out there searching for information :). On a humorous note: One of the search engine queries that lead to this site was "how do I turn back miles?". It was through Yahoo! and this site was the 2nd most relavent. I have a suspicion that guy didn't get the answer he was looking for :).
03/29/2000   The Internet Movie Database, which originally listed the release date of Salvation as April 28th, lists the release date as may 19th, 2000. That is a recent change, even thought the main page for that site says it hasn't been updated since Octorber, 1999.
03/22/2000   I read a scene by scene script summary of 'Crow: The Salvation'. First of all, it doesn't seem like it is very long. The script summary listed, I believe, 18 scenes. An hour long TV show averages around 22 scenes. That's kind of odd, if you ask me. Second, it looks like we won't be seeing much of Grant in the movie :(. Based on the script summary -- he is in about 3 or 4 scenes. Let's hope that's not correct.
03/13/2000   A not so reliable source says that the current official release date for 'The Crow: Salvation' is "sometime in May".
03/10/2000   I spoke with a guy at Miramax. Miramax is the parent company of Dimension Distribution, the distributor of 'The Crow: Salvation'. He said that the movie was "nowhere on his release list" which meant "not within the next three months".
03/08/2000   According to the Internet Movie Database the release date of 'The Crow: Salvation' is April 28, 2000. I am going to try to confirm that.
03/07/2000   Grant's latest role is that of Walsh in the movie 'The Crow: Salvation'. This movie will be released either in March, May or July. At the moment I am not 100% sure which one. Keep an eye out for previews.
02/27/2000   Happy Birthday Grant! Assuming the Internet Movie Database is correct today is Grant's 39th birthday. He doesn't look a day over 30 :)
