Krag-Jørgensen rifles and carbines (1894-1945)

Caliber 6.5x55 mm
Produced at Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk and by Steyr (ÖVG) in Austria

This design was approved and put to use in the Norwegian Army and the Navy in 1894. After a while, each Army branch got its own version; the Navy used only the Rifle M/1894.
