Chapter Five--
One year later
The days, the weeks, the year that followed was tough. I missed Nick like crazy. I wanted him back in my life, I knew that, but he didn't. And I was so stubborn. I guess I figured that I'd rather suffer then admit I needed him. Besides I knew what would happen if I tried to get him back in my life. I'd loose either way so I didn't even try to win.
Until one day I just couldn't take it anymore and I called up his best friend, Brian.
"Brian it's me, Chandra."
"Hey, girl how are you?"
"To tell you the truth miserable", and then I froze. I couldn't tell him anything.
"Why are you miserable Chan?"
Nothing came out of my mouth. I knew that if I told Brian, he'd tell Nick
and then, I'd hafta face up to my feelings. I was so scared.
"Brian I hafta go. Uhm it was nice talking to you bye." I said in practically
one breath. And that was the end of that. Or so I thought. But Brian thought
differently.
Brian's P.o.v.
'Hmm, wonder what that was all about.' I thought to myself. I knew something was up and I was very curious. I wanted to get to the bottom to this. 'Maybe Chandra still loves Nick. DUH. Brian, of course she loves him still. And he loves her, even if he is with that slut Tiffany.' 'Time to call in the troops.'
After my little conversation with myself I decided it was time to call up Kevin, Howie, and AJ to devise a little plan that would soon be known by the whole tour as "Operation loooove machine". Hey, don't look at me. It was Aj's idea.
And somehow the whole plan would be kept secret from Nick and Chandra. Well Chandra wasn't so hard untill the actual plan got underway. And might I add, I think we did a maravelous job when it came to actually getting the plan to work. So read on people, and find out what happened to romeo & juliet...
