I
am Evie. Welcome to my Website!
I speak the truth, but the news media and the Brown County
officials don't want to listen to the truth in Brown County. They use all their
resources blocking the attempts by citizens to air the truth.
Mark Quam, the director of Human Services, slanders anyone who speaks up
publicly against the corruption by labeling them as nutcases. He used this
tactic when battling with me. I would have hoped by now, that people would see
through it.
E.g. Quam protected Joe Van Beek like a knight in shining armor.
Van Beek opened a private AODA treatment agency and used his public employment
at Brown County Mental Health Center, to refer OWI clients to himself. In
addition, Van Beek got the assessors he supervised BC to block referrals to
other agencies and to send them to Van Beeks. This is a direct violation of
conflict of interest laws.
I complained and complained. Quam backed Van Beek to the hilt and
no other official I contacted would do anything about it.
For my efforts, I was driven out of the AODA field. I got a letter
from Quam one day that said due to a complaint against me, my entire clinic was
removed from the OWI provider list. To this day, the "alleged"
complaint remains anonymous. I've never got a name of a person who complained or
a copy of the complaint. That is the kind of due process one receives in Brown
County in retaliation for voicing valid complaints and exercising the right to
free speech.
I contacted everyone I could think of - no one would listen.
Myself and others picketed outside the Brown County Mental Health
Center. No news source
reported it.
But low and behold, the crook Van Beek was busted for burglary - 3
times. The first one in 1995 was never even reported in the news.
I filed laws suits against Van Beek and Quam and Brown County. The
county judges dismissed them on summary judgment. One is still in the appeals
court but I doubt it will go anywhere.
The newspapers did not print any articles about the law suits.
Every avenue I have tried to use to expose the corruption has been
affectively blocked.
Trust me, you are only getting half the story in the Green Bay
newspapers. Don't ask me why because I cannot figure it out. But for whatever
reasons, corrupt people in power are being protected.
Word to the wise: If you want to fight city hall, move to a bigger
city. Obviously county employees and officials have their hands too deep in each
others pockets to police each other.
Cheers,
Evie
