Brown County "Mission Statement" and "Philosophy"
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of Brown County is to provide, consistent with state statute,
effective and efficient public services which will promote the health and
general welfare of county residents. To these ends, the county will operate,
contract and/or coordinate programs to meet the needs for: general government,
public safety, transportation, health and human services, cultural and
recreational activities, and the conservation of natural resources.
PHILOSOPHY
We, in Brown County government, believe that excellence in public service
requires nurturing an organizational climate that is sensitive and responsive to
the needs of our customers. We are dedicated to the provision of prompt,
courteous and professional services. Our customers will be recognized as
individuals with unique needs and shall be treated with respect and dignity. We
are committed to providing high-quality and cost-effective public services.
