Programs @ Home
| My main hobby at home is creating computer programs. You can download some of these programs here. I created most of the programs to aid me in the creation of others. So, they may not be useful to you at all. They are not all 'user friendly' as I designed them for me to use. They are all designed for Windows 9x. They come ZIPPED. A program like WinZip is required to unzip them. These programs will require Borland Runtime Libraries, downloaded here (493KB Self Extracting) |

| 15/5/01 | Paste It (73KB) |
Originating as a program to store snippets of text to paste into any window, it
advanced to a program allowing a user to select any window to: hide, disable, minimise,
resize, reveal password, and much more. Includes a tray icon, toolbar that sits at the edge of your screen with customisable buttons, help files. |
| 15/05/01 | WinHide (29KB) |
Along the lines of Paste It, this is a program that allows you to hide/minimize/resize windows. The difference is that this program is more user-friendly, can hide the currently selected window by pressing a 'Hot-Key', and has an 'AutoHide' feature. AutoHide can be set to look out for certain programs and hide/minimise/resize them when they appear. Very useful for Pay to Surf software. You can use WinHide to resize the window out of your way, but still get paid! |
| 15/05/01 | Mum's Menu (39KB) |
I designed this program for my Mum who has little IT skills. It simplifies the use of windows by blocking out the desktop at startup and displaying only a few large buttons. A competent user must set up the buttons, but then it can easily be used by a parent or child! ( Once extracted, double-click buttons.reg to add a few buttons that may be useful ) |
| 15/05/01 | Pol2Reg (17KB) |
The System Policy Editor supplied with Windows can be used to create policies controlling access on a computer. However, it does not provide a way to apply the policy files once created - DUH! Pol2Reg will apply these policy files to your system registry. |

| 15/05/01 | ScrnMess (19KB) |
This program fills in your desktop with random colours every fraction of a second. Whatever windows are displayed will be coloured in. Then, when you click STOP, your screen returns to normal. If it is opened using the command "scrnmess.exe +++" it will run hidden. This is perfect as a prank on a friend. Put it in startup on their PC and their screen will be coloured in as soon as they start windows - they'll think it's a virus!!! Looks pretty!!! |
| 15/05/11 | ScreenSaver (138KB) (Self Extract) |
I created the 'Pictures and Sounds' screen saver for the infamous 'Hamster Dance'. Uses ordinary BMP picture files and WAV sound files to create an animated screensaver. Comes with animated hamsters, but can be customised to display anything. You can easily make your own images to be displayed. |

| 15/05/11 | Kye Level Editor (36KB) |
This is a level editor for a little game called Kye (37KB). In the game you move a green ball (Kye) around a grid collecting diamonds and avoiding beasts that follow you. A simple game, but with challenging levels. The editor makes creating your own multi-level files easy. |
