Two Diabolos

Usually visually stunning, tricks with two Diabolos can be wonderful addition to routine. Some can be very difficult, the hardest part usually being starting off.

Throw In

The easiest way, I believe, to start with two Diabolos is to have anothe person throw them in. This can be done by hand, or by someone with a 'Diabolo Set'. The throw should be (if you are right handed) from your left and to the right of the Diabolo already on the string. If done by hand, the person should try and flick it so it starts spinning anti-clockwise from your point of view, and if by another Diabolo-er, the other person must spin the Diabolo the same way you are intending to. After you catch, go on to 'Circles' below'.

Circles

Not really a trick as such, but looks quite good. Think of this as the juggling cascade for two Diabolos. The idea is to get the Diabolos going in (you guessed it) circles. They should circle each other clockwise so as they roll down the string, they gain speed (yet another driving trick).

Double Grind

A difficult trick which simply 'grinds' both Diabolos. First, get two Diabolos going in Circles. Note, they have to be going fast. Then throw one Diabolo to your right handstick. Once you have it balanced, begin to raise your right hand and arm.

While raising your right hand and arm, lower your left and point you left handstick downwards. As you get closer to the Diabolo with your left handstick flatten it out (don't point downwards anymore). Then, all you need is a little tug with your right hand to bring the Diabolo up. Catch it on your left handstick.

Well done. You are now grinding both Diabolos! To escape, let them roll (one at a time) back on to the string and go into Circles.
